This miniature horse stands ten times smaller than the average sized breed making him the perfect size to play with his companion. When he was injured as a foal, he only had one friend to comfort him, the boxer named Lily. She sat with him for months nuzzling him back to full health. \r

The two became fast friends before the baby kangaroo was brought to a nearby wildlife sanctuary. \r

At the Taiyun Zoo in China, a red panda gave birth to two beautiful babies and left them. The zoo keepers scrambled to find a wet nurse for the two furballs and found some luck living on a nearby farm. A white dog that had also recently given birth was more than happy to take up the job. She nursed the cubs until they were old enough to make it on their own.\r

Koko, the gorilla, is known worldwide for her extensive knowledge of American Sign Language and her abilities to communicate so clearly with her caretakers. For her 44th birthday, Kokos trainers brought her a litter of kittens and let her keep two for herself. The two kittens were named Ms. Gray and Ms. Black, and both are spoiled by their new mommy. \r

The baby goat in this picture was abandoned right after it was born. A boxer that lived close by came across the kid and took him under his wing. Now Tilly the boxer spends his days grooming the goat and the kid follows the boxer wherever he goes. \r

Bubbles the African elephant was given a second chance at life when she was rescued from poachers and brought to a safari reserve in the US. She soon became inseparable with a dog that was left at the park by a construction worker. Bellas favorite pastime is using Bubbles as a diving board to jump into the water.
